How Housatonic Project Viewer Server works?

With the Housatonic Project Viewer Server installed on a Windows server, users access the application via a web site link.
The Project Viewer Server looks and feels the same as MS Project. Users can open their mpp files quickly, viewing project information in their browser.
The Project Viewer Server can also retrieve project data from MS Project ODBC databases or from SharePoint/Project Server web site repositories.

View Project (MPP) files:

From your external web site - add a live link to your mpp file using
simple HTML tags and pass the Internet URL to our Project Server viewer.
From Google Docs or Microsoft Office online - share your mpp and
pass the project URL to our Project Server viewer.
From your corporate intranet (SharePoint or other intranet app) -
pass the project link to our Project Server viewer.
Integrate third party document management systems or apps with
our Desktop or Server viewers.

PC/iPad Requirements

Any device - PC, iPad, Tablet - that supports a standard browser including Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome
No need for Active X or any other product installation on the client pc!
