Teams and team members can make use of online storage services such as Dropbox for storing and sharing MS Project (MPP) files.

Individual Dropbox users (2Gb free) can share an project file via an emailed link. Team members with the Housatoinc Project Viewer on their PC simply click on the link to view.

Using Dropbox for teams, the Project plan is automatically updated in everyone's “dropbox” whenever the Project Manager revises or updates the plan.

Dropbox can also be used in combination with the Housatonic Project Viewer Online (or Housatonic Project Viewer for Web Server) to provide access to team members via their web browser.
