Freedom Health partners with Housatonic to facilitate project management across multiple locations

Freedom Health, a provider of Medicare approved MAPD HMO plans, has implemented the Housatonic Project Viewer Server as part of its strategy to better manage enrollments and increase sales.

The Housatonic Project Viewer addresses a daunting challenge faced by larger and dispersed project teams - how to cost-effectively provide access to project plans, to large numbers of individuals, at multiple locations, sometimes on multiple platforms.

At Freedom Health, the Housatonic Project Viewer Server will serve team members working at 5 locations. Project Managers will post project plans (created in Microsoft Project) to the internal website where they can be accessed by users at any of the locations via a simple click on a hyperlink.

At the user-end no special software is required to be installed, or launched, to view project information. The "work" is done in the background by Housatonic Project Viewer Server which opens/reads the mpp information. Team members' access to the full range of project information is via their familiar web browser.

From inside their browsers users can expand or contract project tasks, filter and search information, view the project calendar, review the Gantt chart or select any of the other views offered, exactly as created and stored by MS Project.
